Global Innovation Center

With a design that supports creativity and collaboration, the Wrigley Global Innovation Center (GIC) is a critical part of accelerating the Wrigley vision of weaving products into the fabric of everyday life around the world. Located in Chicago, Illinois, the three-story laboratory and office building opened its doors in May, 2005. This state-of-the-art facility helps in creating consumer-driven innovation in Wrigley's products, packaging and processes.

The GIC's adjoining Pilot Plant is used to test new machinery and manufacturing processes. The gum samples produced in the Pilot Plant are used for screening prototypes, consumer testing and analytical evaluations.

From the latest technology and flexible workspace to the Winter Garden and Pilot Plant, the GIC is a global resource to support Wrigley's growth as a leading confectionery company.
