About Us

The Wrigley Company was founded in Chicago in 1891 by William Wrigley Jr. and is a recognised leader in confections, with our world-famous brands available in more than 180 countries. Today, Wrigley operates as a subsidiary of Mars, Incorporated, a family-owned company. Mars, Incorporated produces some of the world's leading brands in six segments that include Chocolate, Drinks, Food, Petcare, Symbioscience and Wrigley.

Locally, we have a long and rich heritage spanning almost 100 years. Sales in Australia began in 1911 with the first factory built in Melbourne in 1915. Our current factory was built in Sydney in 1958 and continues producing many of our best-loved brands for the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Island marketplaces.
