History
- 1987 EXTRA sugarfree gum was launched into the Australian market in 1987 with the help of spokeswoman and Australia tennis player, Liz Smilie. The launch of this product revolutionised the category as it was the first sugarfree gum in the market, with a 'taste that really lasts'.
- 1992 It was in this year that EXTRA demonstrated that after eating and drinking, the plaque acids in your mouth fall to dangerously low levels. Chewing EXTRA sugarfree gum helps to stimulate saliva, neutralising the pH levels in your mouth.
- 2000 EXTRA White launched. Chew your way to an EXTRA White smile!

- 2003 Olympic Skier, Alisa Camplin, became the face of EXTRA.
- 2004 EXTRA Professional® launched. For a just brushed clean feeling!
