Generations of the Wrigley family have provided continuous leadership of the Company beginning with the founder, William Wrigley Jr. His son, Philip K. Wrigley, led the company from 1925 to 1961. In 1961, William Wrigley took over the reins of the company at age 28, and led the company for 38 years until his death in March of 1999. His son, Bill Wrigley, Jr., is the current Executive Chairman, and represents the fourth generation.
