Wrigley's Spearmint

The wrapper design for Wrigley's Spearmint, first introduced in 1893, has remained remarkably unchanged over the decades.

The wrapper has always incorporated the distinctive single-headed spear emblazoned with the word SPEARMINT, the first Wrigley gum to adopt the now-famous arrow motif. The arrow motif is so powerful that in Asia, Wrigley's Spearmint, Doublemint and Juicy Fruit are called White Arrow, Green Arrow and Yellow Arrow, respectively.

Throughout much of the brand's existence, its wrapper has also featured a triple sprig of mint, also a well-known Wrigley design element.
