Our goal is to operate our factories as efficiently as possible. This helps us to keep energy costs down, while also leaving a lighter footprint on the communities in which we operate. Over the last four years, we’ve been successful in doing more with less — producing more products with less energy, water and waste. Over time, we aim to send zero waste to landfills and increase our use of renewable energy such as solar and wind power.
Sustainable in a Generation
Together with our segment partners across Mars, we have set ambitious targets to make our factories and offices Sustainable in a Generation. As part of this program, we aim to eliminate fossil fuel energy use and greenhouse gas emissions from our operations by 2040. We are working on similar long-term commitments for water and waste.Learn more +
