Ian Burton

Managing Director UK and Ireland

Ian became Managing Director of Wrigley UK in September 2009 and was previously Managing Director of Mars Africa.

Originally from Bedford, Ian moved to Southern Africa at a young age and began his sales career in Tiger brands, a major South African-based FMCG company, progressing to senior sales management. He joined Mars in 1998 and has held a number of senior posts across the UK and South African business.

As a long time fan of the iconic Extra® brand, Ian was excited to join the company in 2009 and become part of the Wrigley family. He is married to Simone and has two children, two cats and a Yorkshire terrier.

George Bojewski

Plymouth Factory Director

George became the Plymouth Factory Director in Wrigley UK in August 2008 and was previously Factory Director in Spain.

Originally from Poland, George moved to the United States at a young age where he received most of his education up to university level and began his manufacturing career in Red Wing Foods, a large private label company in New York. Throughout his career in the US, he has held a number of other roles in other FMCG companies ranging from Operations to Engineering. George joined Wrigley in 1999 and has held a number of Senior Management Positions working in various countries in West and East Europe including Asia.

George is proud to work for the Wrigley Company where it has a long history linked with strong values; one of them treating people with trust, dignity, and respect. He likes to keep active and enjoys skiing during the winter.
