Hamish Thomson

General Manager UK & ROI

Hamish became General Manager in October 2011 just in time to celebrate 100 years of Wrigley in the UK. He was previously Vice President and Managing Director of Wrigley Pacific. In this role Hamish was co-responsible for more than 400 associates, two factories, two commercial offices and 10 well-loved brands across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Originally from New Zealand, he spent ten years in the UK after graduating. After two years in London advertising, Hamish joined Reebok UK in various marketing and sales roles including playing a fundamental role in the establishment of Reebok Europe in the Netherlands.

His career with Mars, Incorporated began in 2000 when he moved to Australia to assume the role of Marketing Director of the Mars Petcare business.
 
Excited to take over the UK business, Hamish has now returned to England with his wife Maddie and their three children Harry, Oscar and Evie.

Andy Turner

Factory Director

Andy has been part of the wider Mars team for over 10 years. In January he returned to the UK after 10 years overseas to take up the role of Factory Director in Plymouth.

Born in Suffolk on the UK’s east coast, Andy moved with Mars Petcare to New Zealand in 2001. There he worked in various roles in engineering and operations before moving to Germany in 2008 to work in the European central team as a Senior Industrial Engineer.

Andy, his wife Debbie, daughter Alisha and their pets are really happy to be back in the UK and have settled well after many years of travelling.

“I have a real passion for people and get immense satisfaction from seeing people learn, grow and develop within their personal and professional careers. Having worked for more than 10 years in Mars Petcare it is great to join the Wrigley team. As a child I always remember enjoying Hubba Bubba and Juicy Fruit.” Andy Turner.
