Wrigley Oral Healthcare Programme

The Wrigley Oral Healthcare Programme (WOHP) is a provider of educational oral healthcare information and literature beneficial to dental professionals and their patients.

The main objective of the Programme is to provide the tools to educate dental professionals on the benefits of sugarfree chewing gum and in particular Wrigley's Orbit Complete®, in order to assist dental professionals in offering simple tools for oral healthcare to their patience.

The Programme offers a wide range of services. Over recent years, these have included:

• Production and distribution of Continued Professional Development (CPD) materials to dental professionals
• Production and distribution of Plaque Prevention Kits (each kit contained a packet of Orbit Complete, a tooth brush, interdental brush and toothpaste), as well as in excess of 144,000 samples of Orbit Complete to dental professionals to handout to their patients
• Running the 'Student Award' in conjunction with the BDA and the BSDHT to give new and exciting opportunities to future professionals

The Programme is now in its tenth successful year and 47 countries now have their own oral healthcare programmes.
