SKITTLES ® gives up their rainbow for pride, with limited edition packs

This summer, to celebrate Pride and show that only one Rainbow truly matters, SKITTLES® is partnering with Tesco UK to launch limited edition ‘rainbowless’ SKITTLES Fruits packs. This follows last summer’s activity, in which SKITTLES gave up its famous rainbow colours, in recognition of the annual Pride in London event. 

Available exclusively in Tesco UK stores from 27th March 2017 to early September, the limited edition packs will be offered as single bags (55g) and sharing pouches (174g and 350g). The ‘rainbowless’ packs will contain all-white SKITTLES Fruits with a black ‘S’, giving consumers a surprise with each mouthful as they will be unaware which of the five fruit flavours they are about to taste!  For every limited edition ‘rainbowless’ pack sold, Wrigley will donate 2p to Tesco’s LGBT+ charity partners*.

Julio Guijarro, Marketing Director Wrigley UK, commented, “The response to our #onerainbow (or Give The Rainbow) campaign at Pride in London 2016 was incredibly positive, so we were keen to get involved again. Our activity last year resulted in requests from across the world for colourless SKITTLES packs, so we’re really excited to team up with Tesco UK to launch the limited edition ‘rainbowless’ packs to show our support again for Pride and celebrate diversity and inclusion.
